Dear Discovery Early Learning & Care Families, 

We hope this message finds you well. 

We would like to take this opportunity to share important information regarding our Child Care Fee schedule. Our team remains committed to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. 

As we move forward, we will continue to focus on enriching activities, academic support, and meaningful social experiences for all children in our care. 

Recently, we have been reviewing our annual budgets, alongside the allowable rate increases through Children Services. In attempting to align our daily rates with those of Children Services, we will be increasing our full fee rates effective April 1, 2026 as presented. We have had to make the decision to remove part day care rates for all groups. 

The Ministry of Educations has shared this information with us for families: 

For Ontario’s families effective January 1, 2026, along with implementation of the cost-based funding approach, base fees for child care in CWELCC-enrolled programs continued to be capped at a maximum of $22 per day for eligible children. An updated Child Care Fee schedule for all groups of children for 2026 is posted on our website.
