March 16th 2026: Proposed Regulatory Amendments under the CCEYA
The Ministry is launching a public consultation on proposed regulatory amendments under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 (CCEYA). These proposed amendments are part of the government’s ongoing work to strengthen health and safety in child care settings across the province.
Through this consultation they are seeking input from licensees and applicants, educators, families and other sector partners. Your feedback is essential in ensuring that any new or amended requirements are effective, practical and aligned with the needs of children, families and staff.
The last day to provide feedback is May 1, 2026.
