The Canada-wide Early Learning & Child Care Agreement has been extended.
Please review an update from the Minister Calandra, Minister of Education, in regards to Canada-wide Early Learning and Child care (CWELCC) system in Ontario. The $10/Day Child Care Agreement has been extended to December 31, 2026. While this one-year extension does not address all the funding pressures the federal government’s child-care program faces her in Ontario, it ensures continuity of the program for the coming year, stability for families and clarity for the child-care sector in the near term.
Childcare Rate Information
We are thrilled to share with you the news that further reductions to child care fees, for eligible families will continue in January 2025, through the Canada Wide Early Learning & Child Care Agreement. We have attached the 2025 Rates effective January 1, 2025 chart with the legislated feereductions.
